Tips on reducing Waste

People that live and work in Glendale can help to reduce the waste generated within the city by following these guidelines:

1. Do not throw away things that are reuseable! Donate them to charitable organizations and thrift stores.
2. Purchase products that can be recycled.
3. Purchase products made from recycled materials
4. Buy products in bulk with only a small amount of packaging material.
5. Buy reuseable products, and do not buy disposable products.
6. Bring your own shopping bags to the store.
7. Please recycle all materials possible.
