A development services division is established in the department of general government. The division shall be composed of the following sections: business services and economic development. (Ord. 5080 º 1 (part), 1995: prior code º 2-46.1)

2.30.020 Director of development services-Duties generally.


A. The office of director of development services is created. The director shall be the head of the development services division. The director shall have charge over the following functions to the extent that such oversight is not inconsistent with other provisions of the Glendale Charter: business retention and attraction, business assistance, business-related special events, redevelopment and city-wide economic development.

B. The director of development services shall be an officer of the city. (Ord. 5080 º 1 (part), 1995: prior code º 2-46.2)
