2.12.010 Composition.


The public welfare department shall be composed of the divisions enumerated in Sections 2.12.020 and 2.12.030. (Prior code º 2-27)

2.12.020 Parks, recreation and community services division-Director generally.


The director of parks, recreation and community services, for the purposes of this chapter, shall be the head of the parks, recreation and community services division. (Prior code º 2-28)

2.12.030 Library division-Director generally-Fees for special services.*


A. The office of director of libraries is created. For the purposes of this chapter, the director of libraries shall be the head of the library division.

B. The library division may charge fees for specialized services provided by the library. The type of services and initial amount or rate of such fees to be paid to the city as provided in this section shall be established by resolution of the city council. Modification of any such fees may be made once annually by the director of libraries with the written approval of the city manager where the costs for such services make it appropriate. The schedule for such fees shall remain on file and be available in the office of the central library. (Prior code º 2-29)
